UK Lyme Conference 2006
The 5th UK Tick Borne Conference will be on Saturday 24th June 2006.
The conference will be based at Tapton Hall, University of Sheffield.
There is a change of format for 2006, the conference will be a one day
event held on a Saturday. There will be a pre-conference reception on
the Friday evening.

Friday 23rd June
18:00 Meal available for those arriving Friday.

available. Open to all conference attendees.
Saturday 24th June
8.30 am Registration.
9.00 am Dr David Owen, chair of the meeting,
Lyme Disease or not Lyme disease - A case presentation.
9.30 am Dr. Andy Wright - subject TBA.
10.00 am Dr. Mrs. Laurence Meer-Scherrer - 'Interesting Aspects of
Chronic Lyme Disease'.
10.45 am Coffee Break.
11.15 am Professor Sam Donta - 'Issues in the Diagnosis and Treatment
of Lyme Disease'.
12.15 pm Questions and Answers to morning speakers.
12.45 pm Lunch
14.00 pm Dr. Susan O'Connell - subject TBA.
14.45 pm Questions to Dr. O'Connell.
15.00 pm Dr Milton Wainwright - Update on Sheffield research.
15.15 pm Tea break.
15.45 pm Dr. Mrs. Laurence Meer-Scherrer. Case report.
16.00 pm Professor Sam Donta. Case report.
16.15 pm Dr. David Owen Closing Remarks.
16.30 onwards we hope that speakers will stay and answer informal
questions.
